It wasn’t until the 1960s that the world’s first push-up bra was invented – and it was done by an amazing Canadian woman, Louise Poirier, who created the infamous Wonderbra back in 1964. Since then, it is safe to say that times have progressed even farther and it can be seen in the way undergarments have diversified in detail even more, and an example if such diversification lies in the incredible idea that is the gentle push up bras. Doesn’t the name give away plenty? It is a bra that pushes the bust up, as all push-up bras are designed to do, and through strategically placed padding put either lower in the cups or to the sides, but do so gently and minimally so as to maintain an admirable balance between the coquettishness of a more extreme bump in cup-size and a bra that minimises busts and cleavage. Gentle push-up bras are designed with a purpose in mind: cleavage enhancement, wonderfully roundly moulded bust – but in a subtle manner and to a subtle extent that does not make the shift obvious, and instead makes it appear natural, smooth and depicts the receiving of the comfortable support that is guaranteed with such garments.Go Top
